If you have already registered your domain name it's very easy to set it up to work with Doodlekit.

WARNING: This will point everything associated with your domain name to Doodlekit's servers, including E-Mail

Step 1

Log in to your domain name account, and find where you can edit the Nameservers. Use the following nameservers.

Nameserver 1 (Primary): ns1.doodlekit.com
Nameserver 2 (Secondary): ns2.doodlekit.com

Step 2

Log in to your Doodlekit site and click on Settings then Advanced from the Admin section. Make sure that your domain name is correct in the "Domain Name" field.

These changes can sometimes take up to 24 hours to take effect.

Is there an IP address we can use if we want to point the domain to Doodlekit, but keep email with our current service provider?

We prefer that you not use an IP because it may change at some point. You can however create a CNAME that points to doodlekit.com.
